• Client Data: Personal data shared with therapists through our platform, including notes from therapy sessions, is securely stored and will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law (e.g., in cases of imminent harm).

• Therapist Data: Therapists’ profiles and session notes are stored securely within the platform. These are for their own professional use and are not accessible to other users unless explicitly shared with clients or authorized individuals.

All data, including session notes, client history, and any personal information shared, is securely stored on TheraFind’s servers. We follow industry-standard practices to ensure that your data is protected from unauthorized access or breaches. TheraFind adheres to data protection regulations, such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), to ensure privacy and security for both therapists and clients.

 

• Session Notes: Therapists have the ability to store session notes within the platform for their own reference and ongoing support of the client. These notes are accessible only to the therapist and the client they are related to, ensuring the integrity and privacy of the therapy process.

• Account Protection: Users are required to set up secure passwords and are encouraged to use multi-factor authentication for added security.

 

3. Terms of Service for Therapy Sessions

By using TheraFind, you agree to the following terms regarding therapy sessions:

 

• Appointment Scheduling and Cancellations: Sessions must be scheduled in advance through the TheraFind platform. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so within 24 hours of the scheduled time to avoid cancellation fees.

• Technical Requirements: Clients and therapists are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary technology (stable internet connection, webcam, microphone, etc.) to participate in sessions. TheraFind is not liable for technical issues that may arise during a session.

 

4. Billing and Payment

• Session Fees: Session fees will vary depending on the therapist and the type of therapy session selected. Clients will be notified of the cost prior to confirming any appointments.

• Payment Method: Payments for sessions must be made through the TheraFind platform at the time of booking. We accept various forms of payment, including credit and debit cards.

• Refund Policy: TheraFind does not offer refunds for missed sessions, but therapists may choose to reschedule or provide alternative options if the cancellation is made in advance.

 

5. Ethical and Professional Standards

TheraFind expects all therapists to adhere to the ethical guidelines set by their licensing boards and professional organizations. Therapists are required to maintain their licenses and certifications, and to operate within the boundaries of their specialties.

 

• Code of Conduct: Both therapists and clients must engage in sessions with professionalism and respect for one another. Any inappropriate conduct may result in the suspension or termination of the account.

• Responsibility for Therapy: TheraFind is a platform connecting clients with licensed therapists, but it is important to note that the success of therapy depends on the active participation and collaboration of both parties. TheraFind is not liable for the outcomes of therapy or the actions of any therapists on the platform.

 

6. User Responsibilities

• Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for attending sessions on time, respecting the therapist’s time, and ensuring that they have the necessary technology to participate in the sessions.

• Therapist Responsibility: Therapists are responsible for providing professional services that comply with industry standards and their licensing requirements. They are also responsible for the confidentiality and security of their client’s information.
